When a tire has rolled about 100 000 km, it will be "retired" and
goes to Thorn Blasting & Concrete, where it is received by
strong arms. The edges of the deck is cut away and we use
only the tread. Blasting mats are generally three
meters wide and five meters long. To the mats of the size
it takes 33 treads that are sewn together with wire.
